All the speakers, headphone jack, and charger ports are easy to access. I don't have a SD card in mine yet so I haven't really looked at that port. I've read that other people have had problems with the screen protector sticking to their pre-existing screen protector but I have not had that problem. I have a stick on screen protector (not a liquid one). The screen protector takes a bit of getting used to since it is shinier and has a little "give" to it, but I have not noticed that it affects the sensitivity of the screen. The rubber has a very nice feel to it and I far prefer this sort of "skin" to the leather, book-like case I had on my Tab previously. I bought this so that when my kids want to play on my Tab I don't worry about them dropping it and breaking it. It feels very sturdy and protective. The one downside is that it is HEAVY. That took some getting used to, but with toddlers I feel that it is well worth the trad e-off. I thought that the stand in the cover would be useless but I find that I really like using it when I watch Netflix on my Tab. Before I just held the Tab or propped it up on a pillow. I've read reviews that say that the Otterbox case is only good for when you really need protection and not an everyday case, but I've left mine in the Otterbox and like the feeling of safety and security it gives me. If you don't travel a lot, or have small children, this might not be the case for you, but it perfectly meets my needs and I am very happy with my purchase. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful Great protection for my tablet!, Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) It was easy to put on, once I understood the directions and I like it a lot. It does make it a bit bulky, but I still can fit it in my purse. I like how the screen is covered as well as the areas to charge it, headphone jack, etc. (On mine, the hole for the headphone jack is on the opposite side of the jack on the tablet. It isn't a big deal. I tether my stylus using the headphone jack, and I am still able to close the little flap on it, even with the hole being on the wrong side.) The built in stand was definitely a selling point as well. I knew that the otter box would be bulky because I have one for my IPhone. however, I must say that this is a plus. The otter box fit perfectly. It lines up with my charger hole and headphone hole. I read that it does not line up with the SD Card slot. I haven't tried it yet but if it does not it is a small negative compared to the protection. I would recommend this product to anyone that has small children or just need the extra protection. |
